A meat course at Hilda and Jesse

I had the Chef’s Adventure Menu with the wine pairing. The food was good, and the unusual combinations made the meal genuinely interesting. The wine was excellent too.

The problem was the price: the bill came to $268. Even allowing for the quality and originality, it was far too expensive. A good meal, but honestly not one I could justify at that price.
